  • How do I order a printed wedding card?

    It’s very simple:

    • Choose your card, share text and place order
    • Receive digital proof via email in 4 business days
    • Check and suggest final changes, if any
    • Receive final proof via email in 3 business days
    • Recheck final proof and confirm for printing
    • Allow 10-12 business days for printing
    • Delivery time within India: 4-5 business days
    • Delivery time outside India: 6-7 business days

    Note:On receiving the 2nd proof, if you still have further edits, don’t worry. Share them with us and we’ll send you one more proof in 3 business days. Wedding cards are only printed once you are 100% satisfied.

  • Can I order a sample card before placing an order?

    Yes you can, and its 100% refundable!

    You can order a sample of any design you like to get a touch & feel of the card. Your final card will look similar to the sample except it will have your text printed on it.

    A sample costs only Rs. 299 per set. A sample card set includes the envelope with all 5 inserts and the band. You can order a maximum of 3 samples at a time. Shipping cost is free within India and flat Rs. 499 for outside India, for up to 3 samples. To reach you, it usually takes 4-5 business days within India and 6-7 days outside India from the time you place your order.

    The best part is that it is 100% refundable (including the shipping cost). Once you order your sample, you will receive a discount code which you can apply when you place your final printed card order.

    The discount code will allow you a full refund of:

    • Rs. 299, if you have ordered samples within India, or
    • Rs. 299 + Rs. 499 shipping, if you have ordered samples outside India
    • Note: The refund is for 1 sample card and shipping, whether you order 1, 2 or 3 samples.
  • Can I place printed card orders for both the bride & the groom at one time?

    Yes you can. Only thing is that both cards will be couriered to the delivery address shared by you. If you need the cards to send to the separate addresses, its best to place the orders separately.

  • What is the minimum quantity for printed wedding cards?

    50 cards.

    We understand that you may want to have a smaller wedding and consequently have kept the minimums at just 50pcs. Most designer wedding card companies have a minimum of 100pcs and charge extra for lower quantities. We don’t do that.

  • How many inserts can I have in a card?

    You can have up to 5 inserts in total, and you can add a band to hold them together. In addition, you can take RSVP and details cards as add-ons (common in NRI weddings).

  • Can I have a venue map on my invitation?

    Having maps printed behind inserts is becoming less and less common because guests tend to prefer using Google Maps for directions. If your venue needs more information than just the name to be found on Google Maps, feel free to write the complete address in your printed wedding invitation.

  • Can you tell me the specifications of the printed wedding card?

    Paper:

    • Envelope and inserts: 300 GSM luxury card stock
    • Band: 130 GSM luxury card stock

    Size:

    • Envelopes: 6.5 x 8.5 Inches
    • Inserts: 6 x 8 Inches
    • Band: 2.25 x 14 inches (with a peel-off tape to stick the ends together)
    • RSVP card: 3.5 x 5 inches
    • RSVP envelope: 3.75 x 5.25 inches
    • Details card: 4 x 6 inches

  • Do you have e-cards matching the printed wedding cards?

    Yes, we do. We have a matching e-card for every printed wedding card design.

    You can simply select the “Add a matching e-card” option while you place the order for your printed wedding card. This is the easiest, most cost effective way to add an e-card to your printed card order. It’ll save you the effort of retyping your text because we’ll use the same text which you have given for your printed cards. Plus, it’s a money saver. It costs lower to add a matching e-card to your printed card than ordering it separately. It will include all the functions that you have in your printed cards.

    To order an e-card separately, you’ll find a link to the matching e-card in the description of each printed wedding card. You can use the link to go to the separate e-card listing and order it from there.

  • Do I have to re-enter text when I buy a matching e-card?

    No, you don’t.

    While you place a printed card order, you’ll see an “add a matching e-card” option. You just need to select this option and the matching e-card will be added to your order. No need to re-type the text again.

  • Why should I add a matching e-card to my printed card order?

    There are many advantages to adding a matching e-card:

    • You can use the matching e-card to send to guests who’ll not be receiving printed wedding cards. You can also send it to guests closer to the wedding date as a reminder
    • It’ll save you the effort of retyping your text because we’ll use the same text which you have given for your printed cards
    • It’s cheaper than taking an e-card separately

  • I need more functions in my e-card than in my printed card. What should I do?

    In this situation, its best to order the matching e-card separately. To find the e-card matching your printed card, you’ll find a link to the matching e-card in the description of each printed wedding card. You can use the link to go to the separate e-card listing and order it from there.

  • How will you be sending me the cards?

    We ship via reputed courier companies such as FEDEX, DHL, Blue Dart and so on across India and internationally. You will receive the airway bill number as well, which you can use to track your shipment.

  • How much is the courier cost?

    Within India, shipping is free.

    For international orders, shipping cost depends on the number of printed invitations being taken. To calculate the shipping cost for your cards, please have a look at the shipping calculator on our website.

    Note: Customs duty may be applicable on international orders, depending on the destination country. Customs duty is a local tax levied on the import of goods by some countries. Customs duty, if applied by your country, is in addition to the shipping costs mentioned on our website and are to be paid by you. While your order is in transit, the courier company (FEDEX or DHL) will automatically reach out to you for the payment of customs duty, if applicable. To check if customs duty is applicable to you, please visit the customs duty page on our website.

  • How long does it take the courier to deliver my order? Can I track my order online?

    Once your cards are printed, it usually takes 4-5 business days for delivery across India and 6-7 days outside India. All our invitations are couriered using trusted companies such as FEDEX, DHL and Blue Dart.

    Yes, once your order is couriered, we’ll email you the tracking number so you can track it yourself as well.

  • Can I use these printed invitations for functions other than a wedding?

    Yes, while we have made our designs from the point of view of weddings, you will find many designs that can be used for events such as anniversaries, birthdays and corporate events. A lot of our customers use our invitations for such events. The order process remains the same.

  • Do you provide the option of using another language?

    As of now only English can be used for text, though we are working on adding languages soon. If you need your invitations in another language, please email us at hello@weddingcardco.comand we’ll see what can be done.

  • I need help with my wording, can you help me?

    Yes! We have an entire section dedicated to help you find the right wording. Go to the wording templates section in the main menu to see various ideas for your wording.

  • How will you show me the proofs before printing my cards?

    Once you place your order, our design team will email you the proofs of your invitation. You can go through the text online or take print outs at home to proof-read. Only when you’re satisfied with the text and give your final approval over email will your cards be printed.

  • Will you provide name labels?

    Yes. We provide plain transparent stick-on labels which can be used to write names and addresses. They are transparent so they go with any design that you may take. You should use a permanent marker to write the names on the labels to avoid smudging.

  • How do I close the envelope flap ?

    We provide elegant gold round stickers to seal the envelope flap.

  • What are the payment options available?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards and support net banking. If you have any trouble with payment, please write to us at hello@weddingcardco.com and we’ll sort it out.

  • I am not a person of Indian origin, can I still order printed cards for my wedding?

    Absolutely!

    We have a lot of clients who are from the United States, Canada, the UK, the Middle East, Australia and so on and are not of Indian origin. The ordering process is the same. You can choose the invitation design you like, share your wording and quantities, and place the order.

    While browsing invitations, you’ll find a number of them having religious motifs on the envelope & inserts. Since you may not want religious motifs to be there, you have the option to change the motifs or have them removed altogether when you’re placing the order.

    All pricing on the website is in Indian Rupees. Please google the exchange rate to get pricing in your home currency.

  • Is there a way to increase my quantities after I’ve placed my printed card order?

    Yes you can, provided your order hasn’t gone into printing. You can write us an email onhello@weddingcardco.com with your order number & revised quantities. We will send your revised total and send you a link to transfer the balance amount.

    Note: Quantities cannot be reduced once the order has been placed. Please write to us at hello@weddingcardco.com for any issues. We’re quick to respond.

  • My wedding date has changed, what should I do?

    It’s unfortunate that your wedding date has changed. Don’t worry, at all. So long as you haven’t given the print confirmation of the final proof, your new information can be incorporated.

    Please send us an email onhello@weddingcardco.comto inform us immediately. Share the new information with us and we’ll create a new proof. Your cards will only be printed once you’re 100% satisfied.

  • What is your return policy for printed wedding cards?

    Since we make personalised cards, we do not accept returns and issue refunds.

    However, we are also committed to provide you 100% satisfaction and a trouble free experience. If you face any issue, please email us with details and pictures at hello@weddingcardco.com with your order number so that we can understand the problem. We’ll try to sort it out immediately.

  • I have just received my order and some of the cards are damaged. What should I do?

    All our cards go through a physical check by our quality team while being packed. However, if by chance you receive some cards that are damaged, please email us with pictures and your order number at hello@weddingcardco.com. It’ll help us understand what went wrong at our end and immediately start the replacement process as per our Returns and Replacement Policy.

    In case of replacement of damaged cards, we will require you to return them along with the original invoice, so that we understand what went wrong and how to improve our fulfilment process in the future. Please refer to the Returns and Replacement Policy for details.

  • After confirming my final design for print, I have noticed a typing error/spelling mistake. How can I get it corrected?

    Our team will only proceed to print after receiving confirmation from you that all cards have been proof-read.

    However, even after your confirmation, if you notice a previously missed error, send us an email on hello@weddingcardco.com with your order number immediately. We will see to what extent the printing process is complete and inform you of the additional charges if any and the additional timelines.

  • How can I cancel my printed card order?

    We’re sorry that you have to cancel your order. We do not accept any cancellations of orders and refund payments except in the following specific situations.

    Scenario 1:

    Cancellation before you give us a confirmation to print your cards – In such cases, if the order value exceeds Rs. 7,500, we will issue you a refund of the amount received from you after deducting Rs. 7,500.

    Scenario 2:

    Cancellation after you give us a confirmation to print your cards - A refund isn’t possible at this stage. This is because our production team begins the process of printing immediately after your confirmation to have your cards printed.

    Please note: We strongly recommend that you order samples to get a touch and feel of the paper and printing before placing your final order with us.

  • How do I order an e-card?

    It’s very simple:

    • Choose your e-card design, share text and place order
    • Receive digital proof via email in 4 business days
    • Check and suggest final changes, if any
    • Receive final proof via email in 3 business days
    • Recheck final proof and confirm
    • Receive your final e-card in 2 business days
    Note: On receiving the 2nd proof, if you still have further edits, don’t worry. Share them with us and we’ll send you one more proof in 3 business days. Your final E-Card will only be prepared once you are 100% satisfied.

  • What all is included in an e-card?

    You will receive:

    • A combined e-card set with a cover page and all your function pages
    • Bonus: We also share individual function pages separately in case you wish to invite certain guests only to certain functions

  • Can I see a sample e-card before placing an order?

    Yes, you can! You can go to any e-card design and click the “Download sample e-cards” button. It will download 3 sample e-cards of different designs. The main purpose is for you to experience how it works & looks on your phone.

    Your e-card will be made in the design you choose, and it’ll look just like what you see on the product pictures. We have paid careful attention to accurately depict how the e-card will actually look, so you’ll not have any surprises.

  • Can I place e-card orders for both the bride & the groom at one time?

    Yes you can! You can add as many e-cards as you like to the cart and place an order.

  • I’m not inviting all guests to all functions, what should I do?

    Yes, that is completely okay.

    For this reason, in addition to sending you a full e-card set with all your functions (all your functions in 1 PDF file), we also send individual function pages separately. You can use these to invite guests only to certain functions.

  • Do you have e-cards matching printed wedding cards?

    Yes, we do.

    You’ll find a link to the matching e-card in the description of each printed wedding card. Usually e-cards are taken in the same theme to maintain consistency with printed wedding cards.

    You can simply select the “Add a matching e-card” option while you place the order for your printed wedding card.   • I need more functions in my e-card than in my printed card. What should I do?

  • Can I order samples of RSVP and details cards?

    You can order a sample of the matching printed wedding card to get a touch and feel. The paper and printing of RSVP and details cards is the same as that of printed wedding cards, only the size is different. Paper and size specifications for both these items is mentioned in the product description.

  • Can I add a RSVP envelope to my RSVP card?

    Yes you can!

    You have an option to add an RSVP envelope to your RSVP card, on which you can get your return address printed. The best part is that the RSVP envelope is made in a matching design to your RSVP card, so it looks like it’s part of a set!

  • Can you tell me the specifications of RSVP & Details Cards?

  • I’ve added RSVP & details cards to my printed wedding card order, and I also want them in my e-card which I’ve opted for. What is the process?

    If you’ve opted for the “Add a matching e-card” option while placing the printed card order, and have also taken add-ons (RSVP card and/or details card), please send us an email onhello@weddingcardco.com and ask us to add them to the e-card. We do not automatically add them to e-cards since many times they are not needed in e-cards. In your email, please mention your order number as well.
